Mount Revelstoke National Park

Things to do at Mount Revelstoke National Park

  • Drive up the summit and explore the trails near the peak. One specific trail leads to 'Icebox,' a shady rock cleft where the snow continues throughout the summer.
  • Amble through fields of wildflowers in alpine meadows and visit one of the dazzling alpine lakes.
  • Take a walk on the 600m 'Giant Cedars Boardwalk' and discover ancient old-growth woods with Cedar trees up to 600 years old. Picnic tables and benches are available.
  • Wander through 'the Skunk Cabbage Trails,' a 1.2km path which leads you through the fragile wetland which is home to the skunk cabbage plant and a popular pit-stop for migrating birds. Keep an eye out for muskrats, beavers and an assortment of birds!
